OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LTD (ONGC) Recruitment 2016 Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement in
the following posts of General Duty Medical Officer & Field Medical Officer
on contract basis for a period of 22 months w.e.f. 01-09-2016 to 30-06-2018 in
ONGC at Cachar Forward Base, Silchar i.e. at ONGC Dispensary, Srikona/City
Dispensary and at Drill sites/Surface Installations etc. under the
administrative control of Cachar Forward Base, Silchar.
Vacancy Details:
1.
General Duty Medical Officer
No. of post: 01 post
Qualification: MBBS & should have a
valid registration from Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
Fixed Honorarium: Rs. 55,000/- p.m.
Date of Interview: 18-08-2016
2.
Field Medical Officer
No. of post: 01 post
Qualification: MBBS & should have a
valid registration from Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
Fixed Honorarium: 60,000/- p.m.
Date of Interview: 18-08-2016
Post of GDMO is also identified
suitable for PWD (OA or OL only) Venue: ONGC, Cachar Forward Base, Srikona, Silchar.
Terms
& Conditions:
i.
Candidates shall be required to work at ONGC dispensaries at CFB, Silchar/Drill
Sites/ Production installations. (14 days ON/OFF pattern) depending on the
requirement.
ii.
Engagement is purely temporary on contract basis and can be terminated by
giving one month’s notice from either side.
iii. No
claim for regular appointment in ONGC by virtue of their having worked on
contract basis will be entertained.
iv. NO TA/DA
will be paid for attending the interview.
v. Only
Indian Nationals need to apply.
vi.
Applicants must have a valid registration from Medical Council of India / State
Medical Council.
vii.
Submission of false certificates or suppression of facts/ submission of
incorrect information by the candidates shall render disqualification/rejection
at any stage.
viii.
Engagement on contract will be subject to medical fitness.
ix. Selected
candidates shall be required to sign a contract agreement as per the terms and
conditions of ONGC.
How

get themselves registered latest by 12:00 noon.
The
Walk-in-Interview of Contractual Doctors will start from 10:00 hrs. on
18-08-2016
Candidates
should bring all original certificates including Community/Caste Certificate
i.e. SC/ ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), with one set of photocopies of each, along
with recent passport size photograph (to be affixed on the right top corner of
application) duly attested and an application should be typed on A-4 size paper
