Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam Recruitment 2016 Online applications are

candidates with professional qualifications, who are Citizens of India as
defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of 3914
posts of Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools on
contractual basis under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam.

Qualification:
1. Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School:
>>
Atleast 50% in HS + LP-TET/CTET + 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education from
recognised institutes. OR
>>
Atleast 45% in HS + LP-TET/CTET + 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education in
accordance with the NCTE Regulations 2002.OR
>>
Atleast 50% in HS + LP-TET/CTET + 4 year Bachelor Degree in Elementary
Education [B.El.Ed]. OR
>>
Atleast 50% in HS + LP-TET/CTET + 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
[Special Education].OR
>>
Graduation from UGC recognised university + LP-TET/CTET + 2 year Diploma in
Elementary Education from recognised institutes.
2. Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School [Social
Science]:

Graduation from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and 2-Year Diploma
in Elementary Education from recognized institutes. OR

Atleast 50% in Graduation from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and

Atleast 50% in BSc from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and 1-Year
Bachelor in Education [B.Ed] from recognized institutes. OR

Atleast 45% in BSc from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and 1-Year

NB: 5%
relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ ST (H)/OBC/MOBC & Physically handicapped
candidates.
Age limit: Candidates must be not less than 18 years of age and
not more than 43 years of age as on 1st Jannuary, 2016, Relaxation of upper age
limit will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST (H) & PH candidates for another
5 years.
