ASTC Recruitment 2017- Office Assistant posts: Online Applications are invited from Differently Abled Persons who are Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for appointment in the under mentioned posts on contractual basis in Assam State Transport Corporation to be posted throughout its jurisdiction. Reservation: STP-4, SC-3, STH-2, OBC/MOBC-11, UR-20. (For Women in all categories: 12)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs.8,000.00 (Rupees Eight thousand) only (lump sum)
Age as on 01-01-2017: Must not be below 18 years and not be above 43 years as on 01-01-2017 as per Govt. O.M. No.ABP.6/2016/04 dated 03-03-2016 . Upper age relaxation for S.C. & S.T. by 5 years and for O.B.C./ M.O.B.C. by 3 years
Educational Qualification : Higher Secondary passed. Computer literates will be preferred.
Application Fee: NIL
Certificate for D.A.P. : Candidates must possess valid Medical Certificate/ Identity Card issued by Govt. of Assam declaring as DAP. Scanned copy of the same in .pdf format should be uploaded along with the Online Application.
Selection process: Written Test. There will be no interview.

Instructions
1.
Candidates have to apply online only. There is no printed application form.
2.
Candidates are advised not to send any hard copy relating to application form
to ASTC.
3. Please
ensure that you are filling genuine application form available online at ASTC

4.
Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form where candidate may
apply for multiple post with preference. More than one application i.e.
Multiple applications from a candidate will be rejected.
5. Please
ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down vide
5.1.2. Advt. No. ASTC/MD/HO/1546/17/121 dated 11th
May, 2017
6. The ASTC
do neither verify the information filled by the candidates in the application
form nor verify any certificate of category/educational qualification for
deciding the eligibility of candidates.
7. The
certificates of educational qualification and category (if applied under reserved
category) will be verified by the concerned institution. The candidates are,
therefore, advised to ensure their eligibility and the category .
8. The ASTC
will, in no way, be responsible for any wrong/incorrect information furnished
by the candidate(s) in their online application form.
9. The
letter/e-mails in this regard will not be entertained by ASTC.
10.
Candidate should read the form carefully before making any entry or selecting
options.
11.
Candidate should supply all the required details while filling up the online
form. Mandatory fields are marked with * (asterisk) sign.
12. The
filling of online application contains two steps.
12.1. In
Step I of registration
12.1.1. candidate will have to fill Basic Information,
Permanent Address, Present Address, Educational Qualification, Other
Qualifications if any, Experience if any and Upload Photograph & Signature.
12.1.2. The name of the candidate and his/her parents
name in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in Class
12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. No prefix/title such as
Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc should be used.
12.1.3. On submission of details, candidate will be
prompted to check the details and make correction, if any, in the application.
12.1.4. On successful submission, an Application Code
will be generated and an auto¬generated SMS & email will be sent on your
registered Mobile and email-id respectively.
12.1.5. Candidates are advised to retain SMS &
e-mail i.e. Application Code for future reference or correspondence, if any.
12.1.6. In case email is not received by you please
check / ensure from Status Menu that submission of the Application has been
made by you successfully.
13.
Uploaded Photograph & Signature should be in JPG format. The digital size
of file must be less than 40 kb and greater than 3 kb and resolution 140-pixel
height by 110-pixel width and Bit Depth of image file should be 24 bit.
14. All the
candidates who have submitted the Online Application and Paid the Examination
Fee Online till last date will be allowed to appear in the examination and
their Admit Cards will be uploaded on the website as per schedule.
15.
Candidates may please note that changes are not allowed in the online
application, once it is submitted.
16.
Candidate(s) may check the status of their application on ASTC website.
17. The
Online Application process would close on 22- May - 2017 at 05:00 P.M.
