The Education (Secondary) Deptt., Govt. of Assam, will confer the “Anundoram Borooah Award” to the meritorious students of the State shortly. Under the award package, Anundoram Borooah Award citation in the form of a Certificate along with a Laptop Computer to each student securing Star Mark and above prescribed by the State Govt. in the HSLC and High Madrassa Examination and 10th standard examination held under the Board of Secondary Education, Assam and Sanskrit Board Assam during the year 2018.

What’s Anundoram Borooah Award 2018, Assam?

A state government backed scheme to merit the outstanding performances in the educational setup, this one is one to applaud for. The scheme is the epitome of Assam government and is consolidated to provide the meritorious students their rightful prizes. It awards free laptops to the deserving candidates who merited in the HSLC exams. It’s confounded on the backdrop to motivate the students to perform better and efficient in the educational setup.

Anundoram Borooah Award 2018 List - Assam Free Laptop Scheme

All qualifying students who are qualified to avail the award may register online through the portal http://arbas.assam.gov.in .  The applicants will have to upload the following:

1. Pass Certificate duly attested and counter signed by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format.

2. A self attested passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.

The students availing the award are requested to follow the instructions available along with the application form before submitting the application online through http://arbas.assam.gov.in

2018 Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme (Laptop Distribution) for Matric Students

Every year the students who appeared for HSLC  or Matriculation and Assam Higher Madrassa are eager for the Laptop distribution that is held generally at the end of the year or January of the next year.

The same is true with the students who appeared and secured the first division in their examinations this year i.e 2018, the students are eager to know when the laptop distribution will be held/

As of now there has been no official statement on when the ARBAS (Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme ) Laptop distribution will be held, last year it was held in January and in 2014 in December. The date every year hasn't been the same and it is apparent but looking at the history of the months we can assume that it will most definitely be held before 2018's HSLC examinations.

How to apply for Anundoram Borooah Award?

Here’s how you need to apply for this scheme-

➧ The eligible candidate shall need to register with the website of the program.
➧ He/She shall furnish the details regarding their merit to the program registration and obtain the registration completion.
➧ The candidate shall be informed about the award distribution upon the timings setup by the ordeals of higher authority.
